Proform 410 CE Elliptical Review
The Proform 10.0 ZE elliptical is one fitness machine that is packed with features to help you achieve the weight you’ve always wanted. It has the iFiT workout card technology which automatically adjusts the resistance of the elliptical while a voice of a personal trainer guides you through the entire workout. The Proform 10.0 ZE elliptical also has 12 digital resistance levels to choose from, adjustable strides of 13”, 15” or 18”, upper-body workout arms for a total body workout and a dual-grip EKG heart rate monitor so you could always be in your target heart rate zone. Combine these with the 8 weight-loss workout programs of the Proform 10.0 ZE elliptical and you will experience an intense yet effective workout that will provide you with the results you can see in just weeks of use. To ensure maximum results, the Proform 10.0 ZE elliptical makes your workout a comfortable one by its oversized, slip resistant pedals which allows for different footing positions while on the elliptical. The Proform 10.0 ZE elliptical also has a CoolAire workout fan to maintain your desired cool during the entire workout and a water bottle holder for an added ease. Not only that, the Proform 10.0 ZE elliptical is equipped with a compatible music port for iPod so you can easily listen to your favorite music. Added features of the Proform 10.0 ZE elliptical include a SpaceSacer design for easy storage, a 275-lb. weight capacity that assures you of the durability of the elliptical and a blue-tinted LCD window with priority display that includes a 5×7 workout matrix which allows you to keep track of your progress like your speed, time, distance and calories burned. Good points: Wide range of strides from as low as 13″ to 18″ Affordably priced Brand new 2010 model Supports iPod Not the most durable elliptical from Proform Only eight workout programs included Doesn’t support the new iFit Live but does support the older iFit workout cards Comments: The Proform 10.0 ZE is a decent all around entry level home elliptical with a decent set of features, average construction and an attractive price. Let’s face it, if you’re only spending on an elliptical, the manufacturer has got to cut corners somewhere. Taking a look at the Proform 10.0 ZE, we see a lot of extra functions that shouldn’t be available at the price point. This means that most likely, the actual construction of the elliptical is going to take a suffering. The standard warranty and the sub par weight capacity of only 275lb confirms this fact. As a starter elliptical, the 10.0 ZE is a good standard. Go up a price level if you’re looking for something a little more durable.
