Strong Points: For a sub elliptical (at time of review), the Proform 19.0 RE is very well equipped The adjustable stride length from 18″ to 20″ would mean that users of most heights should be able to find a length suitable for them A 350 lb weight capacity is on the high end for an elliptical in this price range Pretty much all treadmills have an incline option but the same cannot be said about ellipticals but the Proform 19.0 RE is one of those ellipticals that does allow you to adjust the incline We’re pleasantly surprised that a wireless chest strap to measure your heart rate is included Not only can the incline be adjusted, your foot pedals can be adjusted as well. This is a feature that is usually found in pricier models so we’re impressed to see this as well MP3 player, iPad holder, in-handle quick controls, and spacesaver design are all nice touches to an already well-equipped elliptical Weak Points: The 19.0 RE is iFit enabled but we’re guessing you’ll still need to pay for the iFit.com membership A 3-year parts warranty and 1-year labor isn’t by any means below par for a sub- elliptical but I would feel more secure knowing that the manufacturer is willing to back up their product for a longer period of time Verdict: (At the time of review, the Proform 19.0 RE was on sale for) If we were to sum up the Proform 19.0 RE in a sentence, it would be that the Proform 19.0 RE is an extremely competitive offering at the sale price of. In terms of the elliptical’s strengths, you can see we’ve listed quite a few of them above. In terms of the elliptical’s weaknesses, you can see that the ones we’ve listed relatively few of them and that’s only because we’re picky. For first time buyers then, if you’re not ready to upgrade to a high-end residential unit but want something more than a cheap, barebones model, the Proform 19.0 RE is an excellent choice.
