Good points: Likely the most affordable choice if you’re looking for a treadmill with a great running surface Based on the specs, the Nordictrack Reflex 4500 Pro is every bit as durable as any of the other models Nordictrack is currently selling Longer than normal parts warranty Bad points: Supports iFit Live but doesn’t come with the actual module or subscription Number of workout programs included not stated Comments: The Nordictrack Reflex 4500 Pro’s main selling point is the Reflex running deck which Nordictrack is backing with a lifetime warranty. Not only is the deck, frame and motor backed by an impressive warranty, Nordictrack is also offering 2 years parts warranty which is an entire year longer than what they used to offer in 2009 (which is usually one year parts on treadmills less than $1500).
So in terms of quality and durability, we really can’t complain. Motor, treadbelt, deck, warranty and weight capacity all look solid. The main gripe we have is that this treadmill seems to be lacking a little in the workout programs department. However, Nordictrack does offer a similarly priced alternative in the Commercial 1500 which though it may have a slightly inferior deck, it does offer a lot of built in programs and includes iFit Live with a 1 year subscription. If you insist on the Nordictrack Reflex 4500 Pro, then equipping it with iFit is only $170 more ($50 for module plus $9.99*12months=$170) which we think is a fair deal. But even without the iFit Live module, at a price of as low as $1099, it’s a pretty decent price.
