Price Comparison of the Nordictrack E 11.9 and the Nordictrack E 12.9

At the time of review, the Nordictrack E11.9 was on sale at $999. On the other hand, the Nordictrack E12.9 had a selling price of $1499.

Comparison of the Nordictrack E 11.9 and the Nordictrack E 12.9

Today, we will compare two models from Nordictrack’s Front Drive Elliptical Trainers Series. At the time of review the Nordictrack E12.9 costs $500 more than the E11.9.

Both models have adjustable stride lengths with the E12.9 measuring 20 to 21 inches and the E11.9 measuring 18 to 20 inches. Their console display is identical. Both have a 7-inch web-enabled color touch screen display. The E12.9 had a slight edge over the E11.9 when it comes to the number of pre-programmed workouts (35 vs. 32), resistance levels (26 vs. 24) and power incline level (0to 20% vs. 3 to 20%). The major difference we see is in the warranty section. The E12.9 has lifetime coverage for the frame, 5 years for parts and 2 years for labor. On the other hand, the E11.9 is protected by a lifetime frame warranty, 3 years for parts and 1 year for labor.

If you look at the numbers, the Nordictrack  E12.9 only had a slight advantage over the Nordictrack  E11.9. So we feel that the E11.9 would still be a practical, reasonable choice. However, if you prefer a longer warranty protection then you can go for the Nordictrack  E12.9.

There is no fast and quick rule as to how you can select the perfect elliptical machine for your home. Bottom line is this, you need to consider your budget and the features that will best suit your needs and preference and then decide from there.
