Good points

  • Stride length is longer than most typical ellipticals at 20 inches
  • High weight capacity, aluminum glide track coupled with a good standard warranty suggests that the RL 1500 is solidly constructed
  • Comes with some innovative features that you don’t often see in other elliopticals such as a step counter and a calorie adjuster (automatically adjusts your workout difficulty to get you to burn the desired number of calories)
  • Wireless heart rate sensor
  • Console looks sophisticated

Bad points

  • older, 2007 model
  • no TV, games, iFit card technology or audio player

Comments

  • The Reebok RL 1500 is a more “serious” elliptical. Unlike the newer Icon ellipticals manufactured nowadays, this Reebok elliptical doesn’t have the typical set of entertainment features like TV, games, or audio players. Depending on your personality, this may or may not be the right elliptical for you. In our opinion, this elliptical is not a bad deal at $1200 considering that it’s fairly well built but it could be a little more competively priced.
