NordicTrack C 700 Treadmill Review (Out of stock)

NordicTrack C 700 Treadmill Review (Out of stock)

Good Points

  • Even though Nordictrack treadmills are generally very affordable and prices are still dropping year after year, the Nordictrack C 700 is a good choice for budget buyers
  • Wireless heart rate strap and integrated speakers for your iPod are features that used to be hard to come by in budget models but it seems like this is no longer the case with the C700 from Nordictrack.
  • At this price, both the 2.75 CHP and 20 by 58 inch treadbelt are above average components when compared to offerings from competing brands
  • This 2013 model supports iFit which means that if you’re willing to invest another $100 for the wireless module, you can add a lot more variety to your workouts. But if you decide not to, the 24 workout apps should more than entertain you for a while.

Bad Points

  • Could potentially be a flimsy model since the warranty is somewhat average and the machine weight is unknown

Verdict

The C 700 treadmill is a budget/entry level offering from Nordictrack. At the time of review, it is going for a not so attractive price of $1499 but should you catch it on sale, you can expect it to be reduced by $500 to $700. Since this is a new 2013 model, it probably won’t go on sale immediately but you might catch at the reduced price near Christmas time.

If you are considering buying this treadmill at the regular price, it is not something we would recommend as there are going to be better deals out there. At the reduced sale price however, you’re really looking at quite a solid model. The treadmill is equipped with a reasonable number of bells and whistles and we would have said it’s quite a deal for even $1000 back a few years. But it’s 2012 and 2013 is just around the corner which means our expectations for a $1000 treadmill are higher and the Nordictrack C 700 may come up a little short. Knock a few hundred dollars off on the other hand, and the Nordictrack C700 becomes a solid contender.

All in all, it’s a reasonably featured packed budget treadmill suitable for casual users.

It’s got to be very frustrating for someone who’s been working out to not see the results they’ve expected.  At times, all it takes is the help of a fitness machine from a reputable brand to get things off on the right foot.  This is where users will be glad to utilize the NordicTrack C 700.

The NordicTrack C 700 is certainly a machine that offers a plethora of features.  One of the finest inclusions for the machine is the Runners Flex Cushioning system.  One can easily adjust the deck and reduce any impact that may cause injury on the joints.

There’s the SpaceSaver design to be happy about as well.  A lot of people have often complained about how much space their fitness machines take up.  With this, they can simply fold the deck, and keep it stored until they want to use it again.

The CardioGrip heart rate monitor is also another valuable addition to the machine.  Outfitted in the handlebars, users can simply monitor their heart rate and ensure that they’re working out within their capacity.  This way, there is no risk of pushing one’s self beyond the limits.

It’s also quite pleasing for users to know that the machine is iFit ready.  One can simply access the console to go online and get all the latest training updates and coaching sessions for professional fitness instructors.  This also offers terrain simulations through Google Maps.

The NordicTrack C 700 is just another one in NordicTrack’s long list of elliptical trainers.  However, it definitely provides users with everything they’ll ever need.  It promises a complete body workout that results in enhanced physical fitness and health.
